Enter: Clown

I’m the only one on the ferris wheel
It’s gettin’ late,
Last ride of the night
It’s almost 10 o’clock

A cold wind blows through
this rickety steel cage
that I’m sittin’ in

Carnies and rubes
Walking around,
Laughing,
Tramping about below

The ferris wheel stops, I’m at the very top
What the hell?
I look down
Wondering what’s goin’ on

That’s when I see the clown, and hear the screams

I watch in silence as
It decapitates the ferris wheel operator

It’s tearing everyone apart within 100 feet
Hands blurring with inhuman speed
Blood and body parts splatter the ground
Guts flying around
Only one is laughing now
Everyone else is dead or has fled the scene

we lock eyes
It says “Now it’s just you and me”

It walks up to the ride’s controls
and presses the green button and watches
As my carriage goes, slowly, down
I just sit there, accepting my fate
It’s too fast
There’s no way I can escape, not with my puny legs
I get to the ground and wonder why I’m not dead yet
“I came here for you, Johnny”
It says, holding out a hand, like a perfect gentleman

and i get my first boner
